Possible interpretations

People have a strong relationship with the place where they live.

People who live in rental properties are subject to fluctuations, since they can move more easily.

Those who reside in their own properties invest more in renovations and home care, but this investment can weigh on the budget if the family is committed to paying the purchase installments.

A high proportion of rental properties is also a sign that the region is valued beyond the purchasing capacity of the families that live there.

It may also be linked to a phase of life, such as study, work, or even the format of typical properties in that area that limit larger family arrangements.

Many real estate launches with small units will shape the profile of the regions, with more people living alone or in couples without children.

On the other hand, when the proportion of owned properties is higher, we see a stable trend in the presence and profile of people in that region, which gives more confidence that there will be long-term consumer potential.
