Code of Conduct
When working on consulting projects as an independent professional, you must ensure the best practices, taking for example the situations listed below:
- Always make it clear to the customer that you are independent of Mapfry and inform the contacts of the Mapfry ombudsman.
- Do not act as a representative of other Geomarketing companies or services.
- Do not act on projects without a contract for the provision of services with a scope, deadline, amounts and payment method.
- Present information and studies in order to ensure the best choices, without indicating options that may bring you advantages, commissions or rebates.
- Inform the client of their abilities and, in the case of unprecedented situations, of the lack of experience in that type of situation.
- Consult Mapfry when there are doubts regarding the type of guidance requested by the customer.
- Ensure the confidentiality of confidential information to which you have access in the exercise of the function.
- Do not assume legal responsibilities as a client representative or attorney at any level and/or purpose.
- Do not hire additional consultancy services on behalf of clients.
- Do not delegate to third parties, in whole or in part, the execution of the services that constitute the subject of the concluded contract.
- Notify Mapfry as soon as you become aware of the conduct of clients and other certified consultants who may indicate a violation of the lines established here.
Mapfry may warn or discredit those who violate any of the lines of conduct established here or their analogues.
